JacobRolf Jacob Sartorius was a Tulsa native. Since his parents were incapable of taking care of them shortly after the birth He was placed for adoption and moved to Virginia. He was raised within Reston, Virginia by his adoptive parents . By the age of seven, he began performing in musicals, where he discovered his love to perform. Vine was an American website that hosts short-form videos as a service, was closed in 2017. Sartorius posted lip-syncing videos on Vine that had more than eight million users by the end of the end of August in 2016. A victim of harassment, he felt social media offered him an opportunity to get away. It was said that prior to Musical.ly, he wasn't one of the loudest.
